Christmas Planetery Observation
Join Ranger Cade for a Christmas planetary observation session. Cookies, hot cider, and hot chocolate will be provided. Please bring a camping chair while you wait and enjoy the refreshments. Please dress for the weather. If you choose to bring your own light, please bring one with a red light setting and only use that setting for the best viewing experience.
We will be targeting Jupiter, Mars, and possibly Saturn and some DSOs. We will be viewing with up to over 180x power through a 10″ Dobsonian telescope.
If the sky is cloudy, the program may be rescheduled for a better date. Please check your email for updates. If the program is rescheduled, you can keep your spot or receive a refund.
The park will be closed to regular visitors at this time, if you are not signed up for the program or camping then you will not be permitted on park grounds.
The meeting location is the playground parking lot (look for the Ranger truck).
