GFWC Ladies' Reading Circle and Somo Sala Circle are hosting a fund-raising chili luncheon at the First Baptist Church on Friday, January 27th between 11AM-2PM. Tickets are $8 and are available in advance by calling 423-312-6064 or at the door. A bowl of chili, toppings, a beverage and a dessert are included. This is a dine-in or carry-out event. Funds raised are for the preservation of the Morristown Women's Club House. Additional donations are welcomed. Come lunch with the ladies!

Help support HC*Excell, Hamblen County's education foundation, at its annual wine dinner fund-raising event. Please make your reservations no later than February 18.

Up-to-the-minute 2023 Spring styles will be on the runway at this always fun event. Enjoy an evening of the very latest fashions, delicious refreshments, and lots of wonderful door prizes. All proceeds from the show benefit Rose Center for the Arts. Table tickets are $25/per person; virtual tickets are $10. Tickets can ONLY be purchased at Kelley Marie Chic Boutique, 2412 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. Your ticket is good for a 20% savings thru Saturday following the show. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

Can you Glow the Distance? Registration opens today for Glow the Distance 5K for MATS (Ministerial Association Temporary Shelter)! Get your running shoes ready and join us downtown Morristown on April 1st at 8 pm. There will be prizes for race winners and best dressed, so get your Glow Gear ready! Registration is $20 for adults (13+) until March 2nd, so register early. The Taste of Morristown is a food competition featuring 20+ local restaurants and is a fundraiser for Girls Inc. of Hamblen County, a local nonprofit. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 13th at Walters State Z Buda Gymnasium from 4-8pm and tickets will go on sale in early March. Their mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold and they do that through hands-on educational experiences and career readiness programs.
